BMI Industrial Ovens: 60 years of innovation

The second major event of 2007, after the incontrovertible THERMPROCESS, was BMI’s sixtieth anniversary, a display in our factory of Saint Quentin Fallavier. We used this occasion to gather our principal clients and collaborators, active or retired, and also our company’s key suppliers who, thanks to their financial participation, contributed to the success of this celebration.

Last 16th November, nearly 200 people met at BMI. The production halls were used for this event, allowing us to highlight BMI’s vacuum furnaces. If the BMICROs, small vacuum gas furnaces, were better represented in number (8), the V64TH160 was the furnace that sparked the most interest from its imposing size and specific kinematics. Let us recall that the V64TH160 is a vertical vacuum furnace with a useful area of 900 x 1600 mm and is dedicated to treating landing gears.

This jazzy, convivial soiree, during which food from Lyon was featured, embellished with a Beaujolais Nouveau tasting, was also marked by Ghislain Perez’ long-awaited first lecture as the new CEO. Let us also note Stefan Blum’s (Director of Metal Technology Holding) well-liked speech, addressed in French, to the BMI invitees.

We have finally profited from BMI’s anniversary and the coming of our Taiwanese agent, Gary Tseng, to celebrate the 100th BMI vacuum furnace sold in Taiwan and what will be, in addition, the first B84T new generation furnace. For more than 25 years, Gary Tseng has worked to promote BMI and impose the company as the leading vacuum furnaces supplier in Taiwan.

To conclude, we return to Stefan Blum’s words: “We are allowing ourselves to say that such longevity in the industrial furnace market was made possible by the company’s associates, its commercial presence, its network of agents, and of course by the quality of its products.”
