Latest industry news : October-November 2017

The last couple of months have been dedicated to meeting our industry partners during a series of technical conferences on heat treatment.

The first meeting took place in Warwick (UK) on 13^th October for the Surface Engineering & Heat Treatment Industry Conference. The day was a mix between technical presentations, networking time and exhibition corners. BMI shared a booth with our partner Almor Group and our Sales Engineer, Philippe LEBIGOT, spoke about the various methods to control the cooling rates of the loads inside gas and oil quenching vacuum furnaces.

We all met again on 21^st-23^rd November in Jihlava (Czech Republic) for the 26^th National Conference on Heat Treatment. Once again, this kind of event is a good mix of networking and friendly exchanges on the industry’s latest developments and good practices. Our Metallurgist and Process Manager, Marc DEVIENNE, presented the benefits of controlling and regulating the nitriding potential under low pressure process. During break times, you could also meet us on our booth, next to our sister company IVA SCHMETZ.
