Nitriding furnaces on their way to Asia

As 2023 comes to an end, we are happy to share that we have just approved the provisional acceptance for two new tempering and low pressure nitriding furnaces type B54RN. These two furnaces are about to board a ship to Asia.

One furnace will be installed in Taiwan, at a commercial heat treater, being a long-time customer of BMI. Since 1987, this is the 9^th BMI furnace that will be installed in this workshop.

The other furnace will be installed in China, to a thread rolling dies manufacturer.

The B54RN being the perfect furnace for all heat treatments on cutting tools and other high speed steels. It is a versatile furnace with a compact design. It offers reduced operating costs thanks to short cycles times for perfect temperature homogeneity.
