November 2025 has been a particularly active month for BMI, marked by important milestones and valuable interactions in Taiwan, a strategic region for heat treatment technologies and one of our most dynamic international markets.
Provisional Acceptance of a new B55T
We were pleased to finalize the provisional acceptance (FAT) of a B55T vacuum brazing furnace for a Taiwanese customer specialized in superalloy steels and aerospace components.
This highly capable furnace will support the production of critical parts that demand precision, repeatability, and superior metallurgical quality.
This new installation further strengthens BMI’s footprint within Taiwan’s aerospace supply chain.

Commercial visits to key partners
Following the FAT, our Export Sales Engineer, Thierry MARION, visited several customers across Taiwan:
- AIDC (Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation), a major aerospace player using their recent B85T130 vacuum furnace with a full metal heating chamber allowing treatments up to 1300°C. The visit allowed for operational feedback, technical support, and discussions about future developments.
- A long-standing customer of 30 years, operating five BMI furnaces for the production of drills, end mills, taps, and other high-precision cutting tools.
- A manufacturer of thermos bottles, relying on BMI brazing equipment for high-quality production.

These visits underscore the diversity of BMI’s customer base in Taiwan and the depth of our long-term partnerships.
A Strong Installed Base
Taiwan remains one of the countries with the largest concentration of BMI furnaces worldwide (apart from our home market).
With almost 160 units installed, Taiwan hosts an impressive network of users from aerospace, tooling, to consumer products, and other high-tech industries.
This continued growth is made possible thanks to the dedication of our trusted local agent, PAN FOLKS, who has represented BMI for nearly 40 years.
New projects ahead: Continued growth in Taiwan’s aerospace sector
Beyond this month’s activity, the year is set to finish on a strong note.
Before the end of 2025, we will conduct the provisional acceptance of a B85T vacuum furnace for another Taiwanese aerospace customer.
Additionally, during the last quarter of 2025, BMI secured a new contract for a vacuum hardening furnace for a manufacturer of aerospace fasteners, with delivery scheduled for 2026.
These new projects reinforce BMI’s position as a key supplier to Taiwan’s high demanding aerospace sector.
Continued presence
Taiwan’s dynamic industrial ecosystem and sustained investment in advanced heat treatment technologies make it a cornerstone market for BMI.
The activities of this past month reaffirm the trust placed in our solutions and the importance of our long-standing relationships.
We look forward to further strengthening these partnerships and supporting Taiwanese manufacturers with reliable, high-performance vacuum furnaces.
