Service Contract
With the aim to extend the lifespan of your industrial equipment and to avoid any production downtime, it is essential to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations in terms of preventive maintenance. Each BMI vacuum furnace is delivered with its complete technical documentation as well as the Preventive Maintenance Plan.
If you can’t or don’t want to deal with maintenance, we offer to set up a Service Contract or Maintenance Agreement which will be valid from 1 to 3 years, where BMI will manage the maintenance of your furnace or furnace fleet if you have more than one.
Choosing the Service Contract will allow you to optimize the service provisions in terms of cost, quality and delivery time. Besides increasing the reliability of your heat treatment process, the benefits of a Service Contract are numerous including :
Scheduled interventions throughout the year
Discount on spare parts
Priority intervention within 48 hours, in case of breakdown

Maintenance 4.0
Industry 4.0 is increasingly being used to describe the factory of the future. Industry 4.0 also includes Maintenance 4.0, Predictive Maintenance or Condition-Based Maintenance. This type of maintenance is based on the instrumentation of machines with intelligent sensors equipped with IoT technology.
At BMI, we offer a Package of Condition-Based Maintenance that allows to increase productivity and reduce maintenance costs by 20 to 40%, by planning interventions and changing spare parts at the best moment before part failure.
Our Cockpit 4.0 software lets you monitor in real time the health of your furnace and the evolution of indicators on the dashboard.
You can choose the 4.0 Package as an option when purchasing a new furnace. You can also benefit from all the advantages of 4.0 technology by retrofitting an old BMI furnace.
Retrofit & Repair
If you need retrofitting, furnace repair or troubleshooting, our Technical Support Team will make an on-site diagnosis or remote diagnosis via the modem in order to give you a quotation that will offer the best benefits-cost ratio for your industrial equipment.
Our in-house Design & Engineering Office and our technicians engineers are working hand in hand to make the necessary design adjustments on the furnaces. Our Services include (non exhaustive list):
- Retrofit or refurbishment of pressure vessel, steel frame, heating chambers, electrical cabinets…
- Software updates and other electrical upgrades (PLC, human-machine interface…).
- Upgrades in order to comply to the new standards and their latest evolutions such as AMS2750, NADCAP, DMP11…
Each repair or retrofit is followed by on-site intervention by BMI engineers for proper installation and commissioning.
