Plasma Nitriding Furnaces

The VI6_ family of vacuum furnaces are cold wall plasma nitriding furnaces with a mobile dome.

Ion nitriding is a plasma technique that helps create resistance, protecting areas of the part that should not be nitrided using simple metallic masks.

Process:

  • Load set at cathodic potential, chamber at anodic potential.
  • Potential difference creates plasma, releasing active nitrogen for nitriding.
  • Fully automatic installation ensuring reproducibility of results.

Plasma nitriding is an alternative to ALLNIT® low-pressure nitriding.
